Nemix 30 CO₂ N₂ - Food Grade B10

198,97 €

A Nemix 30 B10 gas cylinder is a medium-sized, professional gas cylinder with a water capacity of 10 liters, filled with a high-quality gas mixture specially developed for the food industry. The combination of 70% Nitrogen (N₂) and 30% Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) is a widely used MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) gas.

This mixture is used to significantly extend the shelf life of various food products. The CO₂ inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold, while the nitrogen acts as an inert gas to protect the product against oxidation and to prevent the packaging from collapsing. The B10 size is highly suitable for catering establishments, small-scale packaging lines, or demonstration setups.

Important info!

Key features:

  • Shelf life extension: The specific 70/30 ratio is ideal for packaging products such as cheese, processed meats, and various vegetable mixes.
  • Foodgrade standard: Guaranteed pure and safe for direct contact with food products, with full traceability according to strict industrial standards.
  • B10 format: Offers a good balance between a workable supply and compactness, ideal for locations where space is limited.
  • Stable mixing: The mixture is carefully composed within the cylinder. To prevent separation, it is important to store and use the cylinder in an upright position.
Product details

Nemix 30 CO₂ N₂ gas cylinder, filled with 10L CO₂ N₂, specially developed for food preservation (built for long-term and professional use).

Transport & Use:

  • Vertical fixation: The cylinder must always be stored and used vertically. This is essential to guarantee a constant mixing ratio of the gases. Always secure the cylinder with a chain or strap.
  • Transport: Transport the cylinder in a well-ventilated vehicle, without a connected pressure regulator, and with the protective cap in place.
  • Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated room, protected from direct heat.

Specific safety information for Nemix 30:

  • Asphyxiation hazard: In the event of a leak in a poorly ventilated room, CO₂ (which is heavier than air) can accumulate near the floor and displace oxygen. Always ensure good ventilation in rooms where gas cylinders are kept.
  • High-pressure system: Although this is a mixture, it is stored under high pressure in the cylinder. Always use a pressure regulator certified for gas mixtures to ensure the correct flow and pressure to your packaging machine or dosing station.
  • Valve protection: The valve is vulnerable. Always place the protective cap when the cylinder is not connected, especially during transport.
  • No cylinder heating required: Thanks to the high proportion of nitrogen, this mixture is generally insensitive to freezing during normal use (for B10 volumes), unlike pure CO₂ cylinders.
