Nemix 30 CO₂ N₂ gas cylinder, filled with 10L CO₂ N₂, specially developed for food preservation (built for long-term and professional use).
Transport
Transport & Use:
- Vertical fixation: The cylinder must always be stored and used vertically. This is essential to guarantee a constant mixing ratio of the gases. Always secure the cylinder with a chain or strap.
- Transport: Transport the cylinder in a well-ventilated vehicle, without a connected pressure regulator, and with the protective cap in place.
- Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated room, protected from direct heat.
Safety
Specific safety information for Nemix 30:
- Asphyxiation hazard: In the event of a leak in a poorly ventilated room, CO₂ (which is heavier than air) can accumulate near the floor and displace oxygen. Always ensure good ventilation in rooms where gas cylinders are kept.
- High-pressure system: Although this is a mixture, it is stored under high pressure in the cylinder. Always use a pressure regulator certified for gas mixtures to ensure the correct flow and pressure to your packaging machine or dosing station.
- Valve protection: The valve is vulnerable. Always place the protective cap when the cylinder is not connected, especially during transport.
- No cylinder heating required: Thanks to the high proportion of nitrogen, this mixture is generally insensitive to freezing during normal use (for B10 volumes), unlike pure CO₂ cylinders.
