Nemix 30 CO₂ N₂ gas cylinder, filled with 20L CO₂ N₂, specially developed for food preservation (built for long-term and professional use).
Transport
Transport & Use:
- Vertical fixation: The cylinder must always stand upright and be secured with a strap or bracket. This not only prevents falling but also ensures the correct gas ratio during withdrawal.
- Transport: Transport the B20 cylinder in a well-ventilated vehicle, always with the protective cap on the valve and without any connected equipment.
- Storage: Store the cylinder in a dry, well-ventilated room, away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources.
Safety
Specific safety information for Nemix 30 (B20):
- Asphyxiation hazard: In the event of a leak, CO₂ can accumulate at floor level (it is heavier than air) and displace oxygen. In rooms where gas cylinders are used, adequate ventilation and, preferably, CO₂ detection are important safety measures.
- Pressure regulator: Use only a pressure regulator specifically certified for food gases and mixed gases. Since this is a high-pressure cylinder, an accurate flow meter is essential for maintaining the constant quality of your packaging atmosphere.
- Valve protection: The valve of a B20 cylinder is vulnerable. Always place the metal protective cap as soon as the cylinder is not in use.
- No grease/oil: Although this mixture is non-flammable, all equipment (regulators, hoses, couplings) must always be kept grease-free to prevent contamination of the food product.
