Nemix 30 CO₂ N₂ gas cylinder, filled with 50L CO₂ N₂, specially developed for food preservation (built for long-term and professional use).
Transport
Transport & Use:
- Vertical fixation: The cylinder must always be stored and used vertically. This ensures the correct gas mixture and prevents damage to the valve. In vehicles, fixation at two heights with certified straps is mandatory.
- Mechanical transport: Due to the weight (approx. 70–80 kg), mechanical support is mandatory during loading and unloading.
- ADR Regulations: For commercial transport, the B50 is subject to ADR guidelines (UN 1956, Compressed gas, n.o.s.). Ensure you have the correct documentation.
- Storage: Store the cylinders in a dry, well-ventilated room, protected from heat.
Safety
Specific safety information for Nemix 30 (B50):
- Asphyxiation hazard (Critical): CO₂ is heavier than air and can accumulate at floor level in confined spaces in the event of a leak, displacing oxygen. Permanent ventilation in the production area is mandatory.
- Pressure regulator: Use only a professional pressure regulator specifically designed for mixed gases (food grade). An accurate flow meter is essential for a constant packaging atmosphere.
- Mechanical safety: A full B50 is heavy and has a high center of gravity. For internal transport, always use a robust cylinder hand truck with chain security.
- Grease-free operation: Although the gas is inert, all connections and regulators must remain clean and grease-free to prevent contamination of your final product.
