Points of attention:
- Fixation: Due to its slender shape, the "long" B03L model can tip over more easily than a compact cylinder. Always use a clamping bracket or cylinder holder to secure the cylinder in an upright position, both in vehicles and at the workplace.
- Protection: Always wear the protective cap during transport. Because this is a steel cylinder, it weighs more than the aluminum variant; do not let the cylinder fall on your feet during loading and unloading.

Specific safety information for the B03L (Steel)
- Prevent liquid withdrawal: As with any liquid CO₂ cylinder, it must always be used and transported upright. If the cylinder lies on its side, liquid CO₂ can flow into the pressure regulator. This causes immediate freezing (down to -78°C) and can lead to defects in the regulator or leaks.
- Temperature sensitivity: The pressure in a CO₂ cylinder is highly dependent on the ambient temperature. Never place the cylinder near heat sources (radiators, ovens), as the internal pressure can rise rapidly when heated.
- Risk of freezing: When drawing large quantities of CO₂, the valve and regulator can cool down significantly. If you are drawing gas continuously, it is preferable to use a pressure regulator with built-in heating to prevent the valve from "freezing up" due to rapid expansion.
- CO₂ detection: Because CO₂ is heavier than air, the gas accumulates in basements or near floor openings. In the event of a leak from this 2 kg cylinder in a small room, the oxygen level can drop dangerously. Ensure good ventilation.
