Weldmix 15%CO₂ AR CO₂ gas cylinder, filled with 10L of AR CO₂ (argon/carbon dioxide mix), specially developed for MIG/MAG welding (built for long-term and professional use).
Transport
Transport & Use:
- Vertical fixation: Always secure the B10 cylinder upright with a chain or strap in a bottle holder. This is the safety standard, both on a welding cart and in a van.
- Transport: Always transport the cylinder without an attached pressure regulator and with the protective cap in place. Ensure that the cargo area of your vehicle is well-ventilated.
- Storage: Store the cylinders in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct heat sources or direct sunlight.
Safety
Specific safety information for Weldmix 15%:
- Asphyxiation hazard: Argon and CO₂ are both heavier than air and can displace oxygen in poorly ventilated areas. Always ensure adequate ventilation when using in workshops or confined spaces.
- Pressure regulator: Use only a pressure regulator suitable for mixed gas. Since the cylinder is under high pressure, an accurate flow meter is necessary to properly adjust the consumption (l/min) to your welding settings.
- Valve protection: The valve is a vulnerable part. Always screw the protective cap onto the cylinder after use or during transport to prevent damage.
- No contamination: Keep the cylinder and connections free of oil and grease. Greasy connections can negatively affect the quality of the gas and, consequently, the quality of the weld.
