Weldmix 15%CO₂ AR CO₂ gas cylinder, filled with 20L of AR CO₂ (argon/carbon dioxide mix), specially developed for MIG/MAG welding (built for long-term and professional use).
Transport
Transport & Use:
- Vertical fixation: Transport and use the cylinder exclusively in an upright position. Secure the B20 in your vehicle using certified tension straps at two heights.
- Safety cap: Always screw the protective cap onto the cylinder when moving it. On a B20 cylinder, the valve is a vulnerable and costly component.
- Storage: Store the cylinders in a well-ventilated room, away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources.
Safety
Specific safety information for Weldmix 15% (B20):
- Asphyxiation hazard: In the event of a leak in a poorly ventilated workspace, Argon and CO₂ can displace the oxygen in the air. Ensure continuous ventilation or use extraction systems directly at the welding source.
- Pressure regulator: Use only a pressure regulator for mixed gas. With this volume (B20), a stable regulator with a good flow meter (liters per minute) is crucial for a consistent result.
- Mechanical safety: A B20 cylinder has a substantial weight. Always use a stable welding cart with a proper chain or bracket fixation to prevent the cylinder from tipping over.
- No grease or oil: Ensure that the valve connection and your pressure regulator remain free of grease; this prevents impurities in the gas that could disrupt your welding process.
