Weldmix 15% AR CO₂ - B10
A Weldmix 15% B10 gas cylinder is a mid-sized, professional industrial gas cylinder with a water capacity of 10 liters, filled to 200 bar with a versatile MAG welding mixture. The ratio of 85% Argon and 15% CO₂ is a popular choice for general construction work. The higher share of CO₂ compared to "lean" mixed gas provides a more powerful arc and deeper penetration, which works excellently on structural steel that is not extremely thin.
The gas is compressed under high pressure. Because it is a stable mixture in gaseous form, the ratio between Argon and CO₂ remains constant throughout the entire use of the cylinder. The B10 format is the ideal choice for professionals who need a reliable supply that is easy to take to different job sites.
Key features:
- All-round welding performance: Offers an ideal balance between a stable arc (due to the Argon) and excellent penetration (due to the 15% CO₂), which makes welding steel more efficient.
- B10 format: Provides double the gas supply compared to the B5 cylinder, which results in fewer work interruptions for cylinder changes.
- High-pressure system: The constant pressure in the cylinder ensures a reliable and adjustable flow of gas to the torch.
- Versatility: Highly suitable for both professional workshops and on-site assembly work.

Transport
Transport & Use:
- Vertical fixation: Always secure the B10 cylinder upright with a chain or strap in a bottle holder. This is the safety standard, both on a welding cart and in a van.
- Transport: Always transport the cylinder without an attached pressure regulator and with the protective cap in place. Ensure that the cargo area of your vehicle is well-ventilated.
- Storage: Store the cylinders in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct heat sources or direct sunlight.
Safety
Specific safety information for Weldmix 15%:
- Asphyxiation hazard: Argon and CO₂ are both heavier than air and can displace oxygen in poorly ventilated areas. Always ensure adequate ventilation when using in workshops or confined spaces.
- Pressure regulator: Use only a pressure regulator suitable for mixed gas. Since the cylinder is under high pressure, an accurate flow meter is necessary to properly adjust the consumption (l/min) to your welding settings.
- Valve protection: The valve is a vulnerable part. Always screw the protective cap onto the cylinder after use or during transport to prevent damage.
- No contamination: Keep the cylinder and connections free of oil and grease. Greasy connections can negatively affect the quality of the gas and, consequently, the quality of the weld.
