Product details
Weldmix 2% CO₂ bundle, 12 gas cylinders filled with 50L of AR CO₂ (600L), specially developed for welding stainless steel (designed for long-term and professional use).
Transport
Transport & Logistics:
- Mechanical transport: The bundle may only be moved by certified personnel using a heavy-duty forklift or crane. The center of gravity is high, requiring caution.
- ADR Transport: Transporting a full bundle is a complex ADR operation (UN 1956). This is handled exclusively by specialized gas suppliers who possess the correct vehicles and safety certificates.
- Surface: The bundle must be placed on a completely level and load-bearing surface to ensure stability.
Safety
Specific safety information for the Mixed Gas Bundle:
- Asphyxiation hazard (Critical): A bundle stores a very large quantity of inert gas under high pressure. In the event of a leak in a poorly ventilated room, oxygen levels drop extremely rapidly. Permanent oxygen monitoring is mandatory in the storage area and in the vicinity of the pipeline network.
- Stationary installation: Bundles are almost always placed outdoors or in a specially ventilated technical room. The piping must comply with applicable safety standards for high-pressure gases.
- Leak detection: Given the scale of the system, it is essential to regularly check all connections and piping for leaks using appropriate detection equipment.
- No freezing risk: Unlike pure CO₂ bundles, a Weldmix bundle (Argon-based) does not require preheating. This significantly simplifies the design of the gas distribution system.
