QUILL FALCON HYDROGEN - Cyclone 200
The Quill Falcon Cyclone, with its ATEX Gas Group IIB approval, was accepted for use during the plant shutdown. However, the customer did not want to shut down the plant due to cost and time constraints. Quill Falcon therefore set about obtaining approval for Gas Group IIC (equipment for use in atmospheres with acetylene or hydrogen, or gases and vapors of equivalent risk).
Quill Falcon successfully achieved the new IIC rating (CE EX II 2G EXh IIc T4 Gb) in the summer of 2024 and now supplies the Quill Falcon Cyclone for use in live hydrogen plants.

Weights and dimensions are based on current models in production. Intake rates based on average dosage settings. Water consumption originates from water used at the nozzle. Up to 1 liter of water per minute is required to keep the vessel pressurized. Grit and water usage may vary depending on compressor size, dosage valve setting, nozzle size, and the type of blast media used.
