Transport
Transport & Use:
- Mechanical transport: A full B50 weighs significantly (approx. 60-80 kg). Always use a professional cylinder hand truck with a chain guard. Never lift the cylinder manually.
- Fixation: For stationary use in the factory, the cylinder must always stand upright and be secured with a proper wall bracket or chain.
- ADR Regulations: For business transport, the B50 is subject to ADR guidelines (UN 1072, Oxygen, compressed, 2.2 + 5.1). Ensure proper documentation and safety equipment are present in the vehicle.

Specific safety information for Oxygen (O₂) (B50):
- Fire hazard (Critical): Oxygen is a powerful oxidizer that extremely accelerates combustion. Keep the environment absolutely free of oil, grease, lubricants, and flammable materials. A minimal leak can lead to spontaneous combustion or explosion upon contact with these substances.
- Work grease-free: Never use grease or oil on the valve, threads, or pressure regulator. All equipment must be "oxygen clean." This is life-saving.
- Pressure regulator: Use only a pressure regulator specifically certified for Oxygen. Never use it for other gases to avoid contamination (and therefore fire hazard).
- Ventilation: Ensure continuous, active ventilation in the room where the cylinder is used or stored to prevent the accumulation of oxygen in the event of a leak.
